Community Food Bank

Each Sunday, the DRCA will be hosting a Community Food Bank event. The Community Food Bank will be hosting a Free Grocery Distribution for anyone in need. Everyone is welcome to enjoy light refreshments, and take the opportunity to socialize with your neighbours. Families and children are warmly welcomed! Boxes will be provided to help you carry your groceries.

With the help of our volunteers our community was able to dispose of 18,145 kg of garbage earning the DRCA a thank you on behalf of Community Strategies & Waste and Recycling Services.

Deer run Child care
Looking for Child Care? Deer Run Community Child Care is a fun, play-based environment located right in the Deer Run Community Centre. We provide care for children ages 19 months to 5 years (pre-kinder) in our Daycare program and Kindergarten to Grade 6 in our Out of School care program.
