The organized Community Cleanup events save residents a trip to the landfill for items that do not fit in their waste and recycling carts or for residents who do not have cart service. This service is free of charge to all Calgarians.

Items Accepted: Household and Construction waste, Propane tanks, Metal, Electronics, BBQ’s, Bikes, Car Batteries (only).

Separate Truck for organics and other yard waste

Items not Accepted: Tires, Household Chemicals, Liquids, Oils, Paints, Freon Appliances, and Glass

COMMERCIAL WASTE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

Volunteers are a must for this to run smooth so we can repeat this again next year. Please call the center to volunteer!
