Pride Month is here!

Know Your Neighbour: Pride Month

June is arguably the most colourful month of the year. Flowers are blooming everywhere one looks, the combination of rain and shine means an abundance of rainbows, and perhaps the most colourful of all are the rainbow flags hanging out of windows and flying from flag poles. June is Pride Month in Canada, which is a 30 day celebration of the LGBT community and a recognition of their historical oppression and continued struggle for equal rights. In celebration and support of Pride Month, we’ve compiled a list of Pride events happening in Calgary this June.
