Zoom with Santa - Saturday Dec. 11, 2021 starting at 1:30 p.m.

Santa Claus is coming to the Deer Run Community Centre - Virtually! Because he has to stay 6 feet apart - he will be making Zoom calls from the North Pole. A zoom call with Santa and a special surprise awaits each child. When you sign up, we will arrange a Zoom meeting time between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. this Saturday Dec. 11, 2021 for your whole family at once and then take turns within that family session. It normally takes 5 minutes per child. Mom and/or dad will provide us a cell phone and an email which you check regularly so we can communicate the zoom link and confirm times or last minute adjustments (e.g., Santa is 5 mins behind/ahead). A reminder to moms and dads that you are crucial to the success so please RSVP by the deadline. We will have to fit everyone in so we ask you be patient if your preferred time isn’t exactly what you asked for.

Why are we so late? We are trying to publish this via social media at the same time as the paper newsletter that comes out about now to give everyone an equal chance. Plus, this is the only day our elves can take time off before the big day. Its a tricky timing game in Santa’s world.

HOW TO SIGN UP

Step 1: Click the Sign up link to reserve a time slot:

  • One time slot allows for up to 4 children to Zoom with Santa. Do you have more children? Just repeat the process and make a note that the two signups are linked.

Step 2: Receive a confirmation phone call from our assigned elf.

  • If you are concerned we don’t have you booked - simply call the Center (403-278-3117) and the elf assigned will call you back.
